Astros Minor League Recap: October 1st, 2021

The AAA affiliate is the only team in action left. See their results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (74-54) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Ivey got the start and went 3 innings allowing just 1 run. Lee got the scoring started for the Skeeters driving in 2 in the first inning with a single to right field. In the 4th, Hinojosa added to the lead with a 2 run HR. Kelly tossed a scoreless inning in relief and then Brown pitched 3 no-hit innings in relief while striking out 4. Scrubb struck out the side in the 8th while allowing a run and James came on to close it and tossed a scoreless 9th striking out the side as the Skeeters won 4-2.

Note: Brown will finish the season with 131 K in 101.1 innings.
